SelfView was developed to conform with the DSM-5. The American Psychiatric Association developed a classification system called the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Conditions (DSM) to assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in diagnosing mental conditions.

Is SelfView confidential?

Yes, we take your privacy seriously and we are HIPAA compliant, just like your doctor's office.

If I take SelfView more than once will I see the exact same test?

It’s unlikely, but the first 11 questions are scanning questions, and they are the same because they set a baseline. Based on your responses to the scanning questions, SelfView will choose from billions of possible pathways to develop your SelfView assessment. If you are in treatment, use SelfView to track your progress toward reaching your goals, and you can keep sequential reports to show your therapist or anyone else if you wish to do so.

Have many people already taken SelfView and where has it been used?

SelfView has been used for years at dozens of top medical centers including Harvard, UCLA, University of Kentucky to name just a few. Thousands of people have already taken SelfView with over 90% patient acceptance of the experience. As one person said ‘Why don’t doctors give this to their patients?’
